November 12th is getting closer!  All the Fellows have been selected for this year’s Design Fellowship.  And, WOW, what great entries from both fellows and students.  It was exceptionally hard to only select 12 out of all the entries received.  Please go to Facebook to see the winning entries and help me congratulate this year’s 2010 Design Fellows.

The Design Fellowship is here again…

The Annual HKS Design Fellowship provides an environment in which emerging designers can be recognized and grow their talents in order to improve HKS’s design as a whole, while simultaneously benefiting the community. I was lucky enough to be selected as a 2008 fellow and I am extremely excited to be a facilitator this year. The opportunity is unbelievable, from the people you meet to the synergy of design and teamwork that is created; for me it felt like being back in college studio again. I’m really energized because for the first time, we’re extending fellowship to final year & graduate design students in an effort to share this unique and rewarding experience and collaborate with emerging talent from the local universities.

I know this year’s Design Fellowship will once again bring together the best and the brightest design talent from all over the world as well as all sectors of design from architecture to interiors. I’m really looking forward to an amazing weekend, with long nights, lots of caffeine and great creative ideas that will no doubt rejuvenate my passion and love for design all over again.

Last year we worked with Habitat for Humanity, check back in two weeks to find out who in the community we’ll be working with this year!
