Every year HKS participates in Furniture for Kids. This is a design competition amongst 30 Dallas architecture firms that benefits the Mav’s Foundation. This year the challenge was to design a toy box. The toy boxes will be auctioned off at the event, and all proceeds go to the Mav’s Foundation.
We still have extra tickets if anyone would be interested in attending the Furniture for Kids event this Thursday evening starting at 5:30. There will be free food, drinks, and a band!
This year, our submission is titled ” The Rockin’ Lollipopin’ Princess Castle”. “The Rockin’ Lollipopin’ Princess Castle” is a dream toy box for any young girl. This interactive castle not only promotes creativity, but also is a fun storage space for a little princess to keep her treasures. The castle has many attractive features that will keep any little princess content for hours! Some of the features include: a toy box that also functions as a bench, a lollipop mirror, a wardrobe tower filled with dress-up, and a tower that stores a karaoke machine. The Furniture for Kids team at HKS enjoyed creating the “Rockin’ Lollipopin’ Princess Castle” and hope it can enhance the childhood experience.
