HKS was named the #1 Best Place to Work in Los Angeles by the Los Angeles Business Journal (LABJ). The company was recognized at an awards luncheon at the JW Marriott Los Angeles on August 16, 2012, where Associate Niel Prunier was present to accept the award for HKS.
More than 600 attendees were on hand at the luncheon to honor award winners. Recipients were recognized in three categories: large company (250 or more employees), medium company (50 to 249 employees) and small company (15 to 49 employees).
The countywide survey and awards program is designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in Los Angeles County, with several hundred participants in the three categories. These firms benefit the region’s economy, its workforce and businesses. The selection process consists of an employer questionnaire – which evaluates the company’s workplace policies, practices and demographics for 25 percent of the scoring value – and an online confidential employee survey that represents 75 percent of the scoring value. The survey is conducted for the LABJ by Best Companies Group.
“We are honored to be considered the best large company to work for in LA. It is the outstanding employees of HKS who made it possible,” said Principal Scott Hunter. “The results speak for themselves, and we are proud to be a part of the Best Places to Work program.”
