Not your typical LEGO set

December 14th, 2009 by Ashley Dias, Dallas office

Looking for something unique to put under the tree for your kiddo, niece, nephew, or I-almost-went-into-architecture-friend? Well, here’s an idea… LEGO has developed some slick new sets based on a handful of very iconic buildings. You can pick from sets of Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater, the Guggenheim in New York, the Empire State Building or the Space Needle among others. Check out some of the images from LEGO Architecture’s website below:

They have a couple FLW sets, but fallingwater is my favorite. You’re never too old to play with legos, right?

Those Lego pieces look custom. I’m really tempted to go buy 4-5 FLW Fallingwater sets. Imagine the possibilities! I really think HKS could corner the market on little Lego people.

I bought a Sears Tower one…. They are really expensive and really small! :) But they look cool.
